Well, July sure as heck flew by! It helped that I spent two weeks in Europe (I have some dope posts coming up to share my experience!). I wanted to start this week out with a goals post though since Tuesday is August 1st! So let’s get straight into a review of last month’s goals and the new August goals!

July Goals Recap
In July my goals were a big fat fail. I didn’t set myself up for success with the 2 weeks of travel and without the prep, I just wasn’t able to meet them with my schedule.
Workout 4x a week While traveling I DID a ton of walking, but leading up to the trip I didn’t get as much exercise in as I would have liked. But since coming back I have been very consistent, so that’s a plus! Follow along with my exercise HERE! Post 3x a week While in Europe I didn’t have time to post anything (or at least anything of quality), so that was a big fail. Next time, I will need to prepare content before I leave. I’m learning! Create an editorial calendar This one I am mad at myself for because it was pure laziness that I didn’t do it. I am starting to realize as I’m blogging more though that having a calendar is so important, otherwise things can get lost in the shuffle.
Pin regularly I actually successfully did this one! I was sure to pin every day and have been getting more and more traffic from Pinterest!
Read 2 books I got about half way through one book and am also working on another. I didn’t make as much time for reading as I would have liked though.
Cassie’s Fitness Challenge While I probably did get in the miles with all the walking, I didn’t record any of it! I’m thinking of getting a Fitbit as this will better record my steps and other activities better than my GPS watch (which I love love love for running). I also tried kayaking for the first time in a looong time and tubing (which I was pretty sore from).
So, this month I have lots of free time (well, not really, but more than July), so I really am going to work on these goals. I plan to post them in a place that I can see to help me remember to stick with them!
Run 4x a week, lift 2x a week, climb 3x a week I have not been climbing much as of lately so I would like to get back to it! Therefore I am committing to running at least 4 times a week, lifting class Tuesday/Thursday at 6:30am and climbing after work 3 times during the week!
Create an editorial calendar This one I am actually doing right now after I finish writing this post! I have some exciting posts after my trip from Europe and a lot of fun ideas floating around in my head that I can’t wait to get out there! But first, I need to get organized! I’m excited I bought this cute day designer, where you can get something similar here!
Meal prep Sunday nights Another thing I will start tonight, meal prepping! I need to stop spending money eating out, so I need to focus on making it easier for me to eat in! I’ve found some awesome pins to get me started with meal prepping. Do you have any tips?
Join a Twitter chat once a week I’m trying to get back into the Twitter game (because Instagram is so frustrating I don’t want to focus on that right now) and I need some help! I’m going to find a Twitter chat to join to start connecting with other bloggers and begin to grow my following! Are you following me yet, if not you can right here!
Read for 2o minutes 6x a week Instead of focusing on finishing books, I just want to focus on spending time reading. I’m giving myself one day of slack, but ideally I would read every day.
